Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy explains what information we collect when you use the BURN website and app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. BURN is run by Rebecca-Louise, Inc. in Sarasota, Florida, USA (“we”, “us”). By using BURN, you agree to this policy and to our Terms.
1. What we collect
- Your details: your first name and email address when you start joining, and your password when you create your account. We save your name, email and the membership you picked as soon as you tap “Continue to Checkout”, so we can help if something goes wrong before you finish.
- Your membership: which membership you have, monthly or annual, and when it renews or ends.
- Payments: payments on our website are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe tells us whether a payment went through and gives us a reference so we can help with billing questions. If you join through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google handle your payment.
- How you use BURN: the workouts and challenges you do, your streaks, progress and achievements, favourites and settings, so the app can show your progress and keep your place.
- What you share: anything you post in the community, progress photos, journal entries and messages, and questions you ask Ask BURN AI.
- Your browser: our website remembers a few choices on your device while you browse, such as the membership and monthly/annual option you picked and the details you’ve typed, so you don’t lose them. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. Stripe, our payment provider, uses its own cookies on the payment step to keep payments secure and prevent fraud.
2. How we use it
- to create and run your account and membership, and to unlock the right features;
- to take payments and send receipts and important account emails;
- to help you if you get stuck joining, or if you contact us;
- to keep BURN safe, and to stop abuse in the community;
- to understand how BURN is used, so we can make it better;
- to send you workout tips, new challenges and offers, only if you’ve said yes (for example by ticking the box when you join). Saving your details when you join does not sign you up for marketing emails.
3. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information. We only share it with companies that help us run BURN, and only what they need to do their job:
- Stripe for website payments;
- Apple and Google if you join through their app stores;
- RevenueCat, which keeps your membership in step across the website and the app;
- Supabase and Netlify, which host the app’s data and our website;
- ActiveCampaign, which sends our member emails, and marketing emails if you’ve said yes;
- Resend, which sends account and checkout emails;
- Anthropic, whose Claude AI answers your questions in Ask BURN AI once that feature is live. We only send it what it needs to answer you, and Anthropic doesn’t use these questions to train its AI.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our members, our team or the public.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your account information while you’re a member, and for as long as we need it afterwards for billing, legal and tax records. If you start joining but don’t finish, we delete the details you entered within 30 days.
5. Your choices
- Marketing emails: tap “unsubscribe” in any marketing email, or email us. You’ll still get important emails about your account and payments.
- Your information: email us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to close your account. We may keep some records where the law requires it (for example payment records).
- Cookies and saved choices: you can clear them in your browser settings at any time. If you block Stripe’s cookies, you may not be able to pay on our website.
6. Keeping it safe
We use secure, encrypted connections and trusted providers, and only people who need your information to help you can see it. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
7. Children
BURN isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. If the change is important, we’ll let you know by email or in the app.
